Yesenia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy face masks, gloves, protective eyewear, shampoo, massagers, keratin, etc.

Yesenia's story

Yesenia is a small business owner. She's 36 years old and lives in the city of Barranquilla. She owns a hair salon and spa and offers services such as cuts, washes, dying, blow drying, hair repair treatments, keratin treatments, and facial massages, among others. She began her business approximately three years ago and, thanks to her spouse's help and support, she was able to become a professional. The business has become her livelihood and main source of income. Her customers are neighbors, friends, passersby, family members, referrals, and merchants.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she had to close her doors temporarily, following the national government's guidelines, and the country is beginning a process of reopening with pertinent safety protocols in place. This is the reason why Yesenia is requesting her first Kiva loan through Fundación Mario Santo Domingo to buy products that she needs for biosafety and for her business: masks, gloves, protective eyewear, shampoo, massagers, keratin, etc. Support her with a loan for her business.
