Mungu Ni Mwema Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fabrics, cables and other stitching materials, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Mungu Ni Mwema Group's story

Mrs. Irene is a client of the IMF Hekima and leads the groupe villageoise "Mungu Ni Mwema". She is 42-year-old widow, who is the mother of three children. One of her children is in school and the other two are already autonomous.

Mrs. Irene is a tailor. She started this business in 2003 with the start-up funds received from her father. She later became involved with the Hekima program to support her business, during which time she gradually evolved. With this new loan, she will buy fabrics, cables and other stitching materials, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is related to unpaid debts.

She would like to train new fashion designers and to develop her business. Finally, Mrs. Irene would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to owners of businesses with no cash value during the global COVID-19 crisis.
