Burul's story

The 59-year-old Burul is married, with one child. She has a secondary education, and is industrious, goal-oriented, and enterprising by nature. She is well familiar with agricultural techniques and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. She has been raising livestock since 2001, and this is her family's main source of income. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach, she has been able to expand her farm, so that it now consists of four cows, 15 sheep, and two horses There is also a 2.34-hectare plot of irrigated land on which she grows alfalfa.

In order to develop her business further, Burul has turned to Bai Tushum bank for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS), to buy dairy cows. Her goal in this is to increase her sales of organic milk and her cattle-breeding income. She is planning to put the income generated by the loan into developing her farm going forward.
