Maria Magdalena's story

Maria Magdalena and her family live in the city of Portoviejo, a city known as being the first city of Ecuador, the oldest settled in the coastal region. Due to the COVID-19 health emergency, like many other zones of the country, it has been saturated by this.

She is a very hard-working woman who does not give up and seeks the way to earn a living. She is a tailor and, before the pandemic, she had many clothing items she made with great love for her customers. Since the health emergency began, her jobs reduced, but she began to make masks and special suits made from fabric. Now she is also making uniforms for government institutions but not like in other years. But, all the same, it is giving her something with which to continue trying to get out of this difficult situation.

This loan is to purchase fabric, thread, and other sewing materials. She hopes that everything will pass and to continue working for the good of her family.
