Maria Auxiliadora's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy basic grains, beef, and vegetables for starting a business of selling soup on the weekends.

Maria Auxiliadora's story

María considers herself to be a friendly, responsible, honest, punctual, and hardworking woman. She has been the owner of a grocery store for the past 15 years. This business allows her to earn money to cover household expenses and improve her living conditions. At 68 years of age, she has several goals in life and is confident in accomplishing each of them.

Thanks to the support from Kiva and MiCrédito on previous occasions, she was able to purchase products such as oil, cleaning supplies for the home, sugar, canned goods, fried snacks, and bottled soft drinks. This time, she is eager to strengthen her business, so she approached Kiva and MiCrédito once again to secure another loan. The money will be used to buy basic grains, beef, and vegetables so that she can start a business of selling soup on the weekends.

In the near future, María plans to convert her grocery store into a distribution center.
