Ana Vanessa's story

Ana Vanessa is 21 years old, single, does not have children, and lives with her parents in Manta, a very prosperous city visited by many tourists who like to enjoy its marvelous beaches and delicious cuisine. It has been affected by the health emergency caused by COVID-19.

Ana Vanessa is a very hard-working young woman who, despite how difficult the current situation is, continues being optimistic. For three years, she has worked selling seasonal clothing (dresses, blouses, underwear, etc.).

Before the pandemic, she went out every day to sell her products, delivering the merchandise to her regular customers, and she had good sales. Due to the quarantine mandated by the government because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was very difficult to continue with her regular work. She was unable to recover the payments. The financial situation became difficult in the household. At the times there was no curfew, they could go out, and she went to get the payments from some customers who paid them off. Thanks to the solidarity of relatives and neighbors who supported them, they got ahead.

With the money from the foundation's loan, Ana Vanessa will invest in purchasing clothing to have more variety for her customers.
