A loan helped to buy different varieties of cereals so that she can meet rising demand and make more profits that she will use to improve her family.

Jeskah's story

Get to know Jeskah, a 62-year-old single mom of four. She is a woman who is very determined and hardworking. She hails from a remote village in the Vihiga area of Kenya.

Jeskah’s upbringing was challenging, and she never went to college to secure a formal job; however, she did not surrender to that and has been practicing farming for the past few years. Through farming, she has been able to take care of her young family. Her main source of income has been milk and crop farming, and through these ventures she has supported her family as the breadwinner.

Jeskah is requesting a loan to buy different varieties of cereals in order to meet rising demand and make more profits that she will use to build a modern house for her family. She intends to buy a variety of cereals such as lentils and cow peas in the local market. The market for these cereals is never a problem because the demand is always high, and she plans to take advantage of that.

Because of the good relationship she has with her neighbors, Jeskah plans to increase her market by using word-of-mouth to reach more customers and markets. You can help this woman achieve her dreams with this loan, which will surely bring big profits.
