Petita Janira's story

Petita Janira is 39 years old, married, and has four children who are 16, 11, 8 and 7 years old. Her husband is a driver. They live in the city of Machalilla, a place with beautiful beaches and tourist attractions that are visited often by tourists. However, the beaches are deserted now due to the emergency brought on by Covid-19.

Petita is a hardworking woman who does not let herself be defeated, and seeks a way to help her husband in this situation which is so difficult. Before the pandemic he would chauffeur tourists in his motorcycle taxi, giving tours of the city. Now he can't, and it is only through his business that they get ahead.

Petita has a pharmacy in the area. She continues working, although with fear, offering her services with the best security measures. This loan is to buy medicines, diapers, powdered milk and other products she sells in her locale.
