Yeam's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to start a general store business.

Yeam's story

Yeam and her family live in the rural village of Prey Veng. She has a large family that is comprised of five family members, including her and her husband. In her family, all of her children depend on her income.

Yeam is a vendor, primarily selling grocery products at her own house and her husband shares in the financial responsibility by working in a construction business. The income from selling groceries is not enough to cover daily costs and the problem is basically related to the Covid-19 pandemic in that prices of staple foods and other products have increased sharply.

Due to inadequate capital, Yeam is asking for a loan in the amount of 2,000 USD to prepare a general store business. With this loan, she will have enough funds to buy different kinds of products, such as sweets, snacks, drinks, food ingredients and household products to resell from her home.

Thanks to her hard work and your financial support, she will be able to move forward with her store and improve her income.
