Jessica Amelia's story

Jessica Amelia is 32 years old, in a common-law marriage, and has three children who are minors. Her spouse works as a security guard. They live in the canton of Jipijapa, known as the Coffee Sultana, a place of lovely landscapes and very thoughtful and hard-working people. It is a place greatly affected by the health emergency caused by COVID-19.

Jessica Amelia is an enterprising woman who has always liked to have her own income. Three years ago, she began her own undertaking in making fragrances. She prepares and sells women's and men's perfumes. She has regular customers who order the fragrances according to their tastes, she makes them and delivers them.

Before the pandemic, she had a good reception for her products, but due to the restrictions and the fear of illness, she was unable to go out to sell nor could she purchase the materials to make them since the stores were closed. Now that business is reopening, she will invest to deliver orders that have been placed.

With the money from the foundation's loan, Jessica Amelia will invest in purchasing scents, aromatic alcohols, distilled water, and bottles to make the fragrances. Jessica Amelia's dream is to have a perfume shop.
