but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy wholesale rice, noodles and oil to make and sell food.

Colmena De 16 De Febrero Group's story

The “Colmena de 16 de Febrero” community bank is part of the Alto Lima Agency and it is made up of eight members, directed by a board of directors with Beatriz as their president.

Beatriz is 29 years old. She is single and has one child. She has a business selling food. She will use the loan to buy wholesale rice, noodles and oil. She will buy it from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz. Later she will prepare and sell meals at her food stall.

This form of work allows her to generate an income to support her family financially. Her goal is to expand her business. Beatriz asks that they can trust their community bank again.
