A loan helped to plaster her store; she wants to provide better service to her customers and continue getting ahead.
Ascenciona is 46 years old. She is a single mother with three children. Six years ago, she began selling groceries, fruit, and plastic products. She has a store in the front part of her house; she works there every day. More than six years ago, Ascenciona invested in the construction of her small store. Now she wants to improve it. For this reason, she is asking for a loan through Kiva. As you can see in the second photo, it is missing plaster. For this, she wants to invest her loan in the improvement of her store so that her customers feel better with the service she provides. She also wants to rent two rooms in her house to improve her monthly income. Her goal is to have a small agricultural plot so that she can undertake this business. For the moment, she only thinks about continuing to invest in her small store in order to improve her products and customers can choose [products] at different prices. She considers herself to be a tenacious woman since she works day after day to get ahead and improve her quality of life. Ascencia was married but, for many reasons, she separated from her husband and she now finds herself happy this way.
