Isabel Marina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pants, creams, perfumes, lotions, shampoo, personal hygiene products, rice, beans, oil, sugar, and other basic grains.

Isabel Marina's story

Isabel started working as a merchant 15 years ago because of the need to have income to support her husband and change the economic situation of her family. She started with cosmetic catalogue sales in her local area. She has the support of her husband and the fundamental motivation of her two children in this valuable job.

This merchant already had previous experience with a Kiva and MiCredito loan, where, with the support, she bought jumpsuits, shorts, body and face creams, body spray, deodorant, shampoo, blouses, and pants. At this time she is satisfied with having diversified her business, so much so that she is applying again for a loan from these two organizations to buy creams, perfumes, lotions, shampoo, personal hygiene products, rice, beans, oil, sugar, and other basic grains.

In a not-too-distant future, she intends to turn her business into a boutique.
