Danaya Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more animals to resell.

Danaya Group's story

Youssouf, shown here holding a ram, is standing in for the group members because of covid-19 restrictions. Youssouf breeds rams and oxen. He comes from Mali and is 51 years of age. He is married and has eight children between the ages of 3 and 18. His wife is a housewife.
He buys and sells his animals at the weekly markets in his village. The sales can result in profits varying between 70,000 and 90,000 XOF per half-year.
Youssouf has been in this trade for more than 15 years. His income enables him to cover medical expenses, clothing, tuition for his children and to stabilize his family's food security. Youssouf is counting on help backed by the RMCR and its partner.
