but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase improved inputs in order to get a good harvest and enhance his living standard.

Musa's story

Musa is married and lives in a small community in Kaduna State, where he grows maize to support his family. This is his second loan with Babban Gona, and he has been able to send one child to a better school with the profits from his farm.

Through this loan, he will get access to high-quality seeds and fertilizers that will make his crop grow, helping to ensure a bountiful harvest and even greater profits from his farm. Musa’s goal for the season is to increase his farm's size, and he hopes to earn enough income to build a better house for his family at the end of the season.

Musa says that sending his child to school is his happiest memory as a Babban Gona member. With lenders’ help to grow his farming business, Musa believes that he can provide a better life for his family and make even more great memories with them.
