A loan helped to pay for digging a pond and for land filling around his house.

Sophat's story

Sophat, aged 35, is married with one child who is enrolled in school. Sophat and his spouse can bring up their child and can afford to send their child to school by dedicating their time to crops husbandry. They have been managing a farming business for ages, typically earning an average of 14,000 Cambodian rials (KHR) each per day.

Because of the shortage of his finances, he has applied for a loan in the amount of KHR 8,000,000 to pay for digging a pond and for land filling around his house. With this loan support, he can pay for those services and provide his family members with a good environment, fresh air, protection from illness and good conditions for living. His family members will have enough water for everyday usage. In the future, he aims to renovate his old house and push his child to continue studying at university. He sends thanks to all lenders who have contributed their funds to help a poor fellow like him.
