Leonila's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a calf for pasturing.

Leonila's story

Leonila is characterized as an entrepreneurial, hardworking, and honest woman who is well known in the community where she lives. The inheritance that she has is what was passed down to her by her father. She started with the livestock inheritance of the three cows that she got from her father and then she bought another one with her own earnings. These cows became pregnant quickly and, within three years, she had more than ten animals. In this way, as well as with the great help provided by her husband and children (who also raise livestock), she has increased her herd.

With the first loan that Aldea Global lent her, she was able to convert four blocks of land into pasture, which today helps her with the development of her livestock, especially in the summer. Her vision with this loan is to obtain greater profits through pasturing livestock, so she will invest it in the purchase of three pasturing calves. She will sell them once they have reached optimal weight. This business will generate extra earnings for her immediate family and they will have good financial stability.
