Mazari's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy notebooks, reams, erasers, scissors, staplers, folders, cardboard, and other stationery products. She will also buy another showcase and two shelves for her merchandise.

Mazari's story

Mazari is a 54-year-old enterprising woman. She lives in the city of Barranquilla and has a shop where she sells miscellaneous items, stationary products for students, and office supplies in general. She also sells home products such as light bulbs, cell phone chargers, and offers services such as copier and cell phone recharges, among others.

She performs this activity at a shop divided from her living room, and she uses showcases and shelves to exhibit her products to her customers. The service sector is perhaps one of the most requested ones. However, it has had a slow recovery during the quarantine of COVID-19 since it is a place where a lot of people go to for the copier and printing services.

She is currently requesting her first Kiva loan with the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation with the objective of investing in the purchase of more cell phone chargers and USB cables. She will also buy notebooks, reams, erasers, scissors, staplers, folders, cardboards, and general stationery supplies, and another showcase and two shelves for her products.
