Fortaleza Socavon Group's story

Because her parents were low income people, to help with the family expenses, Carly had to work since she was a little girl. At 19 she started a relationship with a man she thought would be her husband forever, they have two girls who are currently 10 and 5 years old. The girls' father left them, so, since then Carly does whatever she can to take care of her children by herself.

Before the Covid-19 quarantine, Carly used to work selling clothes; unfortunately she can´t continue with her business. Because of the crisis and to get the income she needs to meet her family expenses, she began selling fruit outside her house to her neighbors and the people who pass by her home. With this loan she plans to expand her business by opening a bigger and better stocked stall.
