Matumisang's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE-1 hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Matumisang's story

Matumisang is a 28-year-old woman who lives in a one bedroom house, without access to electricity, with one child.

Matumisang works as a civil servant but struggles with buying multiple fuels. She spends the largest amount of her energy expenses on mobile phone charging and paraffin , which costs up to LSL 324 per month. She also spends as much as one hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

She bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help her and her family save the money spent every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free.

The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar-powered. For more information on the ACE1 cook stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy
