A loan helped to buy twenty lengths of pagnes, which will strengthen her initial capital.

La Fleur Group's story

Desanges is a customer of the microfinance institution Hekima and she is the head of the village group "La Fleur". She is married, twenty eight years old and the mother of two children who both go to school. Her partner is unemployed.
Desanges sells pagnes [traditional fabric] for a living and she started this business seven years ago with starting funds received from AGR at the time. Later she joined up Hekima's program to support her business, thanks to which she was able to make constant progress. With this new loan, she will buy twenty lengths of pagnes, which will strengthen her initial capital. Her business does not have any particular challenge.
She would like to feed her family and for her children to keep studying. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and their partners for the support they provide to non-bankable business owners in the context of global crisis related to covid-19. The picture shows only the leader of the group because of covid-19.
