Utulivu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 2 sacks of cassava flour and 1 sack of corn flour, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Utulivu Group's story

Madame Solange is a client of Hekima and chairs the village group UTULIVU. She is 37 years old, married, and the mother of 4 children who are in school. Her partner is a carpenter.

Madame Solange sells cassava flour and corn flour. She began her business in 2004 with start-up funds she received from her husband. Later on she got involved with the Hekima program to support her business, which has grown gradually since then. With this new loan she plans to buy 2 sacks of cassava flour and 1 sack of corn flour, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge she faces in her business is related to the purchase of bad flour.

She would like to buy a parcel of land for her family because currently they are renters. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they have shown to owners of businesses that have no cash value during this global covid-19 crisis. The photo shows only the leader of the group on account of covid-19.
