A loan helped to buy more chickens.

Sandy Elizabeth's story

Sandy Elizabeth and her family live in Picoaza, a place where most of the people engage in the retail trade. This area was severely affected by COVID-19.

Sandy Elizabeth is a hardworking woman who looks for ways to earn income so that she can help her husband. Now that employment and business conditions are bad due to the pandemic, she sells chickens whole or by the pound. Sandy Elizabeth buys the chickens from a nearby farm, butchers them, and then sells them to customers who always pass by her house. Despite that things are difficult, she is still able to sell, but not as before. This has prevented her from paying off her debts as she is accustomed to doing.

This loan will be used to buy more chickens. She hopes to keep receiving assistance through loans as she continues to wait for better days.
