Sesilia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy a plow to use on her plantation.
Sesilia is 41 years old, married, and the mother of eight children. For many years, she and her husband have earned a living by growing and selling crops, including cassava, taro, yams, and watermelon. Sesilia sells these crops from her own tent in town. She and her husband also export their crops overseas, and receive a huge amount of money from doing it. Her business is running well so she was able to set aside some savings while also repaying a prior loan. Sesilia, who is a good role model to some women in her area, has applied for a new loan to buy a plow so that she does not have to pay people to plow her farm for her. Her dream is to build financial security for her children when they grow up.
