Valau's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to plow her plantation and hire laborers to help her husband with the harvesting.

Valau's story

Valau is 50 years old. She is married to a farmer, and they have seven grown children. Their two youngest sons are the only children who remain with them. The rest have built their own new families. Together as a family, Valau and her husband with their two sons run a business growing and selling crops.

On their plantation, they grow taro, cassava, and yams of different kind. Valau sells the crops from her own market stall alongside the main road in town. Her husband and sons take care of their plantation everyday. She is applying for a loan to laborers to help her husband with the harvesting of their yams, because they cannot finish it on their own. She will also use some money to plow their plantation to grow watermelons.
