Divina Juventud Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy school shoes and sneakers as well as expand her business into wholesale.

Divina Juventud Group's story

Marleny is 26 and she started out in sales 20 years ago by working with her aunt at local markets. She started working for herself 4 years ago by selling shoes and sneakers from a rented stall near the La Pampa market.

She is single and her workday runs from 9am to 6pm. Marleny studies nursing at night and this is the first time she has applied for a loan with PRO MUJER. Her mother’s experience as a PRO MUJER borrower is the reason she has come to the organization.

The rest of the group are friends from the market and her neighborhood. Her goals are to finish her degree and be a good mother. She will use the loan to expand her footwear business.
