Lorpu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more cabbages, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots and other items to sell.

Lorpu's story

Lorpu is 34 years old and a mother of two school going children and lives together with her partner. She is a resident in Liberia. There she operates a business where she sells cabbages, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots and other items for a living. She is the sole provider of her family. Her customers are passersby, restaurants, hotels, residents in the area and schools. She has managed to keep all her customers because of the affordability and availability of her services.

The current lockdown didn't favor her business since it was closed until further notice. This financially constrained her since the available profits were used for family support, leaving her short of funds to reinvest in her business. She is now seeking a loan to buy more cabbages, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots and other items to sell to some of her customers who have resumed work like restaurants and hotels so that she can renew firm operations again to continuously run the business. This will improve her financial status and also enable her to meet her family's needs the way it used to be. Thank you funders.
