C2861 Niyomwungeli Group's story

Rehema was born in 1954 and is a widow without children. She is the representative of a group which is called Niyomwungeli in the local language. Rehema owns a small shop which sells green bananas and has an experience of five years in her business. She employs one person in her business as a helper so that her business runs well. Her business starts at six in the morning and remains open until seven in the evening, every day except Sunday. Rehema and her group are requesting a loan from Kiva lenders via Vision Finance Company in order to expand their businesses for the purpose of earning more profits. With the profits, they expect to improve their businesses. Rehema, particularly, needs a fridge which will allow her to create a new business of selling cold soft drinks.
