A loan helped to buy vegetables and rice to sell in area stores.

Eduardo Antonio's story

Eduardo Antonio, 35, is married and has no children. He lives with his wife in the beautiful and thriving city of Jipijapa, known as The Sultan of Coffee, a city of beautiful landscapes and friendly, very hardworking residents who grow cacao, bananas, rice, corn, etc.

Eduardo Antonio works as a truck driver at the moment, transporting all types of products. During the state-decreed quarantine it was impossible to continue working regularly. With his wife's help they worked selling rice and vegetables, delivering the products door-to-door to neighbors who ordered from them, using the necessary precautions to avoid contagion.

With the loan money from the foundation, Eduardo Antonio is going to invest in a purchase of vegetables and rice to sell in area stores.

Eduardo Antonio's dream is to save money to buy himself a car at some point to sell area products in distant places.
