Maria Rossana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy young pigs, balanced feed, and vaccines, as well as materials to expand her pig pens.

Maria Rossana's story

Maria Rossana is married and has three children (ages 21, 10, and 5). She and her family live in Jipijapa, a city where the residents engage in agriculture and are extremely industrious and friendly people. During the quarantine in Jipijapa, several residents contracted COVID-19 and a few in the neighborhood died from the virus.

Maria Rossana and her husband have been selling pigs for many years. During the quarantine, she was able to care for all of her animals and keep working. She started selling pork from her home to customers who placed orders. All of the measures to avoid infection were followed.

With the money from the loan issued by Fundación ESPOIR, Maria Rossana will invest in the purchase of young pigs, balanced feed, and vaccines, as well as materials to expand her pig pens so that she can continue her business. Her dream is to see her family remain healthy and her business not fail.
