Lamona's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy mulberry for her tapa making business and also pay for her son's tuition fees.

Lamona's story

Meet Lamona. She is 58 years old, and she is a mother of two sons. Lamona and her husband live at their own home with their youngest son only.

Currently she is running a business of tapa (cloth) making, and she is a member of a tapa group of women in their village. Together they make tapas of different sizes and kinds. Lamona also sells soft tapas to those who might want it. She normally sells her tapas to her relatives overseas, but since the lock-down, she just sells her tapas locally.

Lamona applies for a loan to buy mulberry for her business and also pay for her son's tuition fees in the university.

Her dream is for her youngest son to finish his education and pursue a career in life.
