Escarlet De Fatima's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables, fruits, rice, beans, oil, sugar, snacks, personal hygiene items, powdered milk and cheese for her store.

Escarlet De Fatima's story

Escarleth describes herself as hardworking, honest, responsible and innovating. She is a 24-year-old, young woman who owns a convenience store. She used the savings she made from a business she had selling fruits and vegetables to create another source of income. In her community she is well known because, despite having problems, she always tends to her customers in a friendly manner and with a smile on her face.

Escarleth has previous experience with Kiva loans through MiCrédito. With her prior loan she bought vegetables and fruits wholesale. At this time she is pleased that she was able to increase her business and to start another one. Once again she is knocking on the door of these two organizations, confident that she will obtain another loan to buy vegetables, fruits, rice, beans, oil, sugar, snacks, personal hygiene items, powdered milk and cheese. In the near future Escarleth plans to convert her store into a wholesale distributorship of products.
