Yesenia Del Socorro

Rubenia, MN, Nicaragua / Retail

Yesenia Del Socorro's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pants, women's underwear, cosmetics and shirts to sell.

Yesenia Del Socorro's story

During the last nine years Yesenia's income has come from her small business selling general merchandise. She works selling girls' purses, underwear for infants and children, hair clips, hair ties, dresses, bed linens and shampoo. In this fundamental business Yesenia has the unconditional support of her husband and the motivation of her two children.

Yesenia has previous experience with Kiva loans through MiCrédito, which allowed her to buy bundles of used clothes. She is content at this time because she was able to increase her business, so much so that she is returning for a Kiva loan through MiCrédito to buy pants, women's underwear, cosmetics and shirts. In the near future Yessenia hopes to continue counting on the support of these two organizations in order to have her own store outside her home.
