Uwemacho Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fabrics, cord and cloths to boost her initial capital.

Uwemacho Group's story

Mme Esperance is a client of Hekima IMF and chairs the village groups 'Uwemacho'. She is 44 years old, married and has three children, one of whom is in education and two already married. Her partner is a chauffeur.

She is a seamstress and sells fabrics; she has been running this business for five years with start-up funds she received from her husband. Later, she joined the Hekima programme to support her business, during which it has been steadily growing. With this new loan, she will be able to buy stock off fabrics, cords and cloths, which will boost her initial capital. Her business is not currently at risk.

She would like to be able to provide food for her family and build a house. To close, she is grateful to Hekima and its partners for the support given to business owners without recourse to other means of financial support in the context of this global Covid-19 crisis. The photo is only showing the leader of the group due to Covid-19.
