A loan helped to build a safe latrine at home.

Sophal's story

Sophal is 34 years old and is a married mother of two children, residing in the Ruessei Kaev district of Phnom Penh province. She and her husband work as paid laborers for household income. Together, they can make around $8 per day to support themselves. She wants to earn a good income to meet her daily living needs. She is photographed with her lovely husband.

As of now, she is requesting a loan to build a safe latrine at home. In this way, she hopes to increase the value of her home and improve sanitation, ensuring healthy living conditions to safeguard the health of her family and protect the environment. With this loan support, she is able to purchase construction supplies such as bricks and cement to build a safe latrine and pay for labor costs. She sends thanks to all lenders for contributing their funds to help a poor person like her.
