Total loan: $3,900

San Cayetano Group

Mariano R. Alonso, Central Department, Paraguay / Food

San Cayetano Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy meat, chicken, ham, cheese, eggs, seasoning and other items.

San Cayetano Group's story

The group called San Cayetano is in its 11th cycle with the women's committee programme, where everyone works together and help each other to get ahead.

One of the members is Carmen, who makes a living selling food. She wants to overcome her and her family's state of poverty. This is the reason she works so hard and puts in all her effort to reach her goal.

She describes herself as a self-sacrificing person looking for a way to provide, so that her family does not have to go without.

She is seeking this loan to invest in ingredients for making her food such as meat, chicken, ham, cheese, eggs, seasoning and other items.

Note: There is only one person in the photograph, although this is a group loan. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a group photograph was not possible in order to avoid too many people together.
