Mujeres Tekoporave Rekavo Group's story

The group called “Mujeres Tekoporave Rekavo” was formed by several friends and neighbors from the city of Caaguazú who joined together. They mentioned that their businesses were affected because they were not able to work normally so that they could generate income for their families.

Tania is one of the members of this committee. She works in retail and has a convenience store where she works every day, starting early in the morning. Tania says that her goal is to help her family by providing them everything that she did not have. The COVID-19 pandemic affected her business, which prevented her from working normally. This impacted her income, so she was not able to fulfill her obligations.

Tania is requesting a loan to buy a variety of products for her convenience store. She wants to buy beverages, baked goods, vegetables, fruits, greens, meats, and other products to sell. Tania is grateful for the opportunity she has received to join this committee since it will be of great help and allow her to restart her business.

Note: The photo shows only one person even though this is a group loan. It was not possible to obtain a group photo so as to avoid people from congregating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
