Calle Yvate Group's story

The group named “Calle Yvate” was formed by several neighbors from Caacupé who are seeking to improve their quality of life and that of their families. They are in their fifth loan cycle with the Women’s Committee Program.

Sra. Feliciana is one of the members of this committee. She is a determined person who seeks to provide her family a decent life without the hardships she had to endure. Feliciana has made sacrifices so that she can get ahead, improve her quality of life, and see that her loved ones lack nothing. She defines herself as a determined person who never gives up and strives on behalf of her loved ones. Feliciana also mentions that the COVID-19 pandemic affected her sales and her income.

She is requesting a loan to invest in and restart her business. Feliciana wants to buy supplies such as vegetables, meats, condiments, chicken, and other products. She manages a business of selling food and wants to improve.

Note: The photo shows only one person even though this is a group loan. It was not possible to obtain a group photo so as to avoid people from congregating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
