Kuña Guapa Group's story

This communal bank is called "Kuña Guapa." All of the communal bank members search for ways to improve their situations and get ahead so that their loved ones have everything they need. The members say that their businesses and incomes have been affected by the Covid 19 pandemic.

One of the communal bank members is Juana. She earns her living in sales; she has a small shop where she works everyday starting early in the morning. She says that with her work, she has been able to help support her household and her family. Juana is a person who, despite daily difficulties, looks for ways to better herself and keep improving so that her loved ones have everything they need.

Juana works hard to build up her business, and she wants to invest capital in her shop to build it up again. Juana is requesting this loan so she can invest it in purchasing a variety of products for resale, like beverages, baked goods, vegetables, meat, dairy products and other items. She is grateful for the opportunity she is receiving to keep her business going like always.

Add: Only one person is in the above photo, but this is a group loan. Taking a group photo wasn't possible due to avoiding gatherings during the Covid-19 pandemic.
