Monserrate Estefania's story

Monserrate, age 28, is in a common-law marriage. She has two children, ages nine and five. They go to school. Her life partner works at a hotel in the city. They live in Manta, a beautiful city on the banks of the Pacific south of the Manabí province. It is known for its beautiful beaches and exquisite cuisine. It has been greatly affected by Covid-19.

She is a woman who likes to work for the well-being of her family. It is for this reason that for over a year she has had a place at her house where she sells lunches and snacks like stew with rice and pork chops, fish, juice, and other items. She tends to her business Mondays through Saturdays. Her business closed due to the pandemic. Therefore, she set up a new business selling natural products.

She will use the loan to buy natural products to give her new business a boost. Her dream is for her children to become professionals.
