Pina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy certified fertilizer and expand her corn farm to meet the high demand for produce in her village and increase her income to pay for her children's education.

Pina's story

Pina, a 47-year-old mom of four school-going children, is the mother of lovely children. She is a woman with a big heart, and her tenderness and her love for farming exceed all limits.

She is a wise farmer who is respected by her neighbors and fellow farmers as a mentor. She farms a small plot of land in the green, lush hills of Kapcherop, which is in the Rift Valley region of Kenya. For the past few years, she has been involved in mixed farming, and she grows maize. She also has dairy cows. Through these activities, Pina has been able to earn a decent and honest income. Because of the passion she has for farming, she has even nicknamed one of the cows that she really enjoys taking care of.

Although Pina has been making profits through farming, not everything has been easy for this humble and industrious mother. Her farm has not been producing as much of her corn harvest lately, due to a lack of fertilizer and the presence of pests and disease. That is why she is seeking a loan to buy quality fertilizer and expand her corn farm to meet the high demand for corn produce in her village and increase her income to pay for her children's education.

Pina hopes you will consider her appeal for the loan; it would mean a lot to her and her family.
