A loan helped to buy fabric to make sheets, bedspreads, and masks.

Mercedes Fanny's story

Mercedes Fanny is a widow with three children. She lives in the city of Jipijapa. The inhabitants of Jipijapa devote themselves to agriculture and selling livestock. They are very hard-working and cordial people. Many of the inhabitants lost family members to the Covid 19 virus.

As a vulnerable person, Mercedes Fanny's children take great care of her. However, as she is a woman who has always worked, she does not like to depend upon anyone. She devoted herself to making masks, sheets, and bedspreads and selling ice cream. Her children are in charge of delivering the orders door to door with care taken in order to avoid contagion.

With the money from the foundation Mercedes Fanny will buy fabric to make sheets, bedspreads, and masks. She has a lot of orders because her items are good quality and economical.

Mercedes Fanny's dream is to be healthy in order to continue working and supporting her children and grandchildren who love her and care for her a great deal.
