Gregoria Hungria's story

Gregoria Hungria is in a relationship, has 4 adult children, and her partner is a construction teacher. They live in the village of Jipijapa, a place of beautiful landscapes and hardworking people, a city hit hard by the health emergency caused by the pandemic.

Gregoria Hungria is a hardworking woman who likes to have her own income. Before the pandemic, she worked by selling products and clothes from catalogs which were promoted through social media.

Due to the health emergency and the restrictions, she couldn't go out and offer her merchandise. Upon seeing that she wouldn't have income, she started a new business that consists of making encebollado (Ecuadorian fish stew) and corviches (fried plantain dough stuffed with fish and peanuts), delivered to homes from orders with all the safety measures to avoid getting sick. Thanks to this, she has been able to pay for household expenses.

With the loan from the foundation, Gregoria Hungria will grow her business by buying all the ingredients for making encebollado and corviches.

Gregoria Hungria's dream is that her business prospers and to be able to get ahead.
