A loan helped to purchase seeds and fertilizer.

05-Deggo Group's story

This group is composed of 10 women and was founded in June 2017. The group members live in the same village and are united in solidarity. They work primarily in agriculture.

Fatou, the group representative, is 45 years old and married, the mother of seven children, including three sons. Like the majority of the group, she works in agriculture.

With this loan, Fatou plans to purchase 5 tons of peanut seeds and 10 bags of fertilizers. After the harvest, she will be able to sell her crop at a good price.

Fatou hopes to use the revenue from this crop to improve her family's quality of life (healthcare, food, and education), and increase her savings.
