05-Nango Ligueye Group's story
This group, composed of 10 women, was established in June 2017. They live in the same village and enjoy strong ties of solidarity. Their main business is agriculture. Bineta, the group's representative, is 48 years old, married and mother of 4 children of whom 3 are girls. She runs an agricultural business. She plans to use this loan to purchase 2 tons of peanuts and 3 bags of fertilizer for cultivation. She will then resell the harvests in the market and hopes to get good profits. These profits will help to improve living conditions, cover household expenses (health, food and tuition). Please note: This is a group loan, but due to COVID-19, the Field Partner has received explicit permission from Kiva to have a single borrower represent the group.
