05-Deggo Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy peanut seeds and fertiliser to cultivate a field.

05-Deggo Group's story

Set up in April 2018, this group comprises nine women who live in the same neighbourhood and are united by bonds of friendship and solidarity. These women mainly work in rain-fed agriculture.

Wouly, the group's representative, is standing at the right of the photo raising her hand. 23 years old, she is married and mother of two children including one boy. With this loan, she plans to buy peanut seeds and fertiliser to cultivate her field.

With the resulting profits, she will develop a small hay trade business and contribute to family management (health, food, education) and build up her savings.
