Umoja Ni Mali Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 15 sacks of corn flour, which will strengthen her starting capital.

Umoja Ni Mali Group's story

Madame Kitunde is a customer of Hekima and the treasurer of the "Umoja Ni Mali" solidarity group. She is married, 38 years old and the mother of 6 children, all of whom are in school. Her partner is a shopkeeper.

Madame Kitunde sells corn flour. She started this business 7 years ago with starting capital from her husband. Later, she asked the Hekima program to support her business, which she built up little by little. With this new loan, she will buy 15 sacks of corn flour, which will strengthen her starting capital. The challenge of her business is related to clients paying their debts late.

Madame Kitunde would like to develop her business. She wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to business owners who are not financeable in the context of the global Covid-19 crisis. The photo only shows the group leader due to Covid-19.
