Las Trabajadoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase meat, baked goods, vegetables, seasonings, and other products.

Las Trabajadoras Group's story

The group called Las Trabajadoras was formed by the union of friends and neighbors from the city of San Lorenzo. They are in their 12th loan cycle in the women's committee program. They seek the way to be able to get ahead and, in addition, to be able to overcome the crisis situation that they all experience due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

One of them is Otilia, who works selling clothing that she makes every day from early in the morning. She states that the pandemic and full quarantine did not allow her to work normally and this affected her income.

She asks for this loan to be able to inject more capital into her business, to be able to improve it, and to purchase meat, baked goods, vegetables, seasonings, and other products to be able to continue with her work.

Like the other members of the committee, Otilia is grateful for the opportunity to be able to improve and get ahead and overcome the current crisis.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
