A loan helped to purchase materials to make jewelry.

Juana Herminia's story

Juana Herminia is 29 years old, single, and does not have children. She lives with her family in the lovely city of Jipijapa, a place of lovely landscapes and hard-working people. It is a city hit hard by the health emergency caused by the pandemic.

Juana Herminia is a young entrepreneur who always seeks the way to get ahead. She works as a teacher at a school and also worked in the afternoons selling clothing to order and jewelry (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and decorated hats) she made using materials such as beads and stones. Due to the health emergency and the restrictions, her sales have gone down, but now she is beginning to reactivate her business gradually, going out to sell with all the protective measures.

With the money from the loan, Juana Herminia will invest in the purchase of materials to make the jewelry.

Juana Herminia's dream is to have her own retail space to have daily income and not to have to make rounds.
