Carmen Victoria's story

Carmen is 33 years old and lives with her life partner with whom she has a daughter who is grown and lives independently. Carmen and her partner live in Manta, a city that has been very affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Carmen is a woman who likes to work and to help her family get ahead. For this reason she began selling clothing from her home several years ago, such as blouses, shirts, pants, dresses and other clothing items for men and women. She works in her business from Monday through Sunday. Since the pandemic started, her sales have decreased substantially and in order to survive the situation she began a business selling vegetables and that is what is now generate more income.

She will invest this loan in buying onion, peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, lime, and other items. Her goal is to open a restaurant.
